May 2005 Bonjour tout le monde.

This is our first newsletter which we hope will be helpful and informative is intended to bring you up to date with the changes to our web site due to take place over the next few weeks.

This will be the second incarnation of the Select Homes in France web site, the last being the early part of 2002. We hope it has not caused you too many problems during the past few weeks whilst we have been making our last minute changes - it is necessary to constantly update web sites to keep up with the changes in technology and also to continue to improve our service and we hope we have managed to achieve this.

We have added such additional features as –

Search facilities – quick search, advanced search, reference search – all this should help you find what you are seeking with less time spent trawling around.

E-mail alerts - (if you register for this, a message will automatically come through to you when a property matching your criteria is entered onto the website)

SMS - we will be able to text you and confirm appointments, pass on time changes etc without wasting your telephone bill.

Local Information – Due to many requests, we are amassing a great deal of information on overview of house prices, festivals, airports, ferry distances, places of interest, and particularly local information on as many villages/towns as we can. Here we will list the local amenities which we hope will enable you to match your requirements as closely as possible. As this is a new feature however it will also take a while to acquire the information and if you would like to help us pass this information on, please email lucy@selecthomesinfrance.com with the facilities in your village/town so that we can make this readily available to everyone.

Property details – Over a period of time we will be including additional photographs where possible – please bear with us as this takes time and will, in general only apply to new properties added.

We have already provided a fair amount of additional useful information and hopefully over the coming months, we will be able to enlighten many more people and provide simple, concise responses to concerns raised which will then be kept in the archives of Select Homes in France.
